Gaia Knights brings together music, art, and a desire to build a more caring and just world.

The songs explore our shared lives, the challenges we face, and the future we leave to our children. I offer them freely to listeners, and I want to connect with people who can bring their own creativity to this growing project.

Why I Use AI

I see AI as drawing from humanity’s accumulated knowledge, creativity, and experience—an inheritance built across generations. I bring my own purpose, judgment, and direction to a process informed by that broader human legacy.

My intention is to give something back: messages that encourage compassion, challenge injustice, protect our planet, and help humanity build a better future.

Much of Gaia Knights has been a solo effort. With limited resources, time, and musical abilities, AI helps me develop songs and images I otherwise could not bring to life. I shape the messages, revise lyrics, explore musical directions, and select and refine the results. The recorded musical performances are generated with AI, and I openly acknowledge that.

I respect human artists and take their concerns about consent, credit, compensation, and livelihoods seriously. I want this project to create opportunities for collaboration and recognition.

Help Form a Live Gaia Knights Band

One of my biggest goals is to bring Gaia Knights to the stage with a real performing band.

I would love to hear from musicians and vocalists interested in joining together to rehearse, collaborate, and perform these songs at live events. Beginners, experienced performers, independent musicians, and established professionals are all welcome.

My larger vision includes local Gaia Knights groups performing in their own communities. Gaia Knights could grow to include hundreds or thousands of participating musicians, with many instruments, voices, and musical traditions.

Perform the Songs in Your Own Style

Existing bands, solo performers, and choirs are welcome to explore these songs.

Change the genre and arrangement. Bring your own instruments, rhythms, and energy while keeping the lyrics intact.

Some songs are long. I welcome collaboration on shorter versions. Please work with me before releasing an adaptation that omits verses or changes wording, so we can preserve the song’s core meaning together.

Send me your recordings. I would love to hear what you create and help promote the performers bringing this music to life.

Share Artwork Inspired by the Songs

If a song sparks an image or idea, I would love to see the artwork it inspires.

I welcome paintings, illustrations, photographs, designs, and other human-created visual work for song covers, album artwork, Gaia Knights, or my political campaign. Gaia Knights already has two released albums, and I welcome creative ideas inspired by those collections.

I’m especially interested in artwork created without generative AI.

For anything we agree to use, we will establish permission and credit together. I want people to know who created the artwork and where they can discover more of that artist’s work. Please include your preferred credit and any portfolio or artist links.

Responsible Use and Our Shared Future

I support useful AI tools under human direction. I also recognize their dangers and oppose the pursuit of artificial general intelligence and artificial superintelligence. I support a moratorium on their advancement. These concerns are reflected in my songs and political positions.

Environmental responsibility matters to me. I live off-grid in a tiny home, generate my home electricity with solar panels, and use that solar power for my computers and electric vehicles. I continue to reduce fossil-fuel use.

Those choices do not erase the resources used by remote AI services. I intend to become more selective about generation and reduce my usage as the core song collection takes shape.

I want Gaia Knights to grow beyond a solo project into a community of people creating, performing, and supporting one another.

The songs are freely available to listeners. Any future Gaia Knights merchandise would be a separate part of promoting and supporting the project.
